Latham Australia are a family-owned, third generation business dedicated to the design and manufacture of high quality architectural products.
Latham approached You & Co with their vision of creating a contemporary website that provided a great user experience, whilst facilitating easy internal updates and maintenance.
HubSpot's HubDB tool was utilised to help manage and streamline Latham's 400+ highly technical products. It not only saved countless hours in uploading product data, but has made the website much easier to maintain moving forward.
In terms of the design, we focussed on providing users with a more logical and simple experience, while conveying the premium, modern nature of Latham products. This is most obvious in the reduction in the number of clicks that is required from the user to get to the individual products.
We updated the Latham brand to support the web redesign – using a new logo and a more sophisticated style guide to further communicate high quality and innovation.
Latham's heritage value was retained through the incorporation of vintage photography and their classic colour palette.
A video was produced to promote Latham’s history, excellence and reputation; bringing products to life on the new website and social media.
The website was launched in April 2018 and the results so far have been very positive.
Product enquiries have increased by 76%. This uplift flows down to most of the key metrics of the site, particularly in terms of organic search which has typically been the most important traffic source for Latham. Visitors have increased by 20% and, more importantly, leads from organic search have almost doubled.
